Building a Franchise Business with a Kit

Sticky Fingers Cooking has a secret ingredient when it comes to building a successful franchise business: the chef kit.

When starting a new business, whether as a franchisee or from scratch on your own, there are initial overhead costs to cover. For some businesses, these costs might include leasing space, hiring employees, buying inventory, advertising, and more.

Sticky Fingers Cooking® offers an affordable franchise fee as part of the start-up investment for owning a mobile cooking school. Our low-cost kids cooking franchise allows you to quickly begin operations without the overhead of a physical location.

As the owner of this home-based business, you can run your day-to-day operations from your home so there is no need to rent a space before you can open. This fact alone means you can quickly start being in business soon after training concludes.

Go to School

The Sticky Fingers Cooking franchise model is based on going to where the students already are, rather than investing in a physical space just for them to take cooking classes from you and your team.

Schools—both public and private—are eager to offer after-school enrichment programs for their students and they don’t have the resources to provide these with their own staff. This is where Sticky Fingers Cooking comes in—literally! Most of our after-school cooking enrichment programs happen in the classrooms or other spaces in schools where kids are already spending time, making it easy to bring the mobile cooking school to kids.

Classes have also been held at libraries, recreation centers, and other spaces where kids tend to gather to learn in a safe environment.

The Sticky Fingers Cooking Chef Kit

Previous generations may have taken home economics classes in their school as part of the daily curriculum and classrooms were equipped with some basic kitchen equipment. Those days are long gone and that’s why we created the chef kit to teach our original recipes.

Part-time chef instructors are the primary employees of a Sticky Fingers Cooking franchise location. Each of your chef instructors will be outfitted with a chef kit provided by you based on the carefully curated list we have created through years of experience. All of this equipment is lightweight and also sturdy enough to be used for years of cooking classes.

Our chef kit eliminates the need for a full kitchen setup, allowing your team to run portable cooking classes with ease. It’s a perfect solution for a low-overhead kids cooking franchise.

These items might come from Sticky Fingers Cooking own branded items inventory, such as kid-safe knives, or they can easily be bought at any number of stores. Also, this list includes affordable things like a can opener, a vegetable peeler, and a bottle of hand sanitizer.
