What to Expect at Your Discovery Day
Your journey to franchise business ownership will include a Discovery Day presentation with our team.

Have you been daydreaming about being in charge of your destiny through a new business? Or are you searching for an opportunity that will allow you to work from home while making a difference to the children in your community? Somehow you learned about the Sticky Fingers Cooking franchise opportunity–maybe through a friend or co-worker, a social media post, or your own research for becoming your own boss.
Once we have your name and email with your inquiry form, I will reach out to get to know you a little bit. If this call goes well, we will schedule a one-hour Zoom call with the Director of Franchise Development (me!), CEO Erin Fletter and COO Kimberly Douglas.
This is the first in a series of learning conversations where we find out if you are as passionate about kids and cooking as we are, if you are ready to invest in a full-time business ownership opportunity, and if your community meets the requirements to be a success with our business model.
I will be your main point of contact throughout this process as I follow your journey.
Once we have established that you have the credentials, you’ve reviewed our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD), completed a confidential questionnaire, researched finance options and your local market, then it’s time to meet virtually with more members of the executive team.
A Franchise Discovery Day
The Discovery Day presentation is a common part of the process in the franchise industry. Essentially, Discovery Day is a meeting between the executive team of the franchisor (us!) and the prospective franchise business owner (you!).
We set up two one-hour Zoom calls for a “Discovery Day Presentation” that has two parts:
Hour One: COO Kimberly Douglas and Chief of Staff Katie Brennan go into the company history and operations.
Hour Two: CEO Erin Fletter and CFO Lelania Howard jump in to review Sticky Fingers Cooking franchise ownership, financials, and much more.
After Discovery Day, we’d love to connect you with a couple of our franchise owners, so you can hear about their experience of becoming a franchise business owner, which is very collaborative and value-based. You’re likely to hear how they went from a corporate 9 to 5 to running their own successful business in just a matter of weeks! This is also when our team explains the importance and logistics of training each new franchise owner so that they are ready to open their new business in as little as eight weeks! Our support isn’t limited to training though; we explain how on-going mentoring and peer groups benefit you as a new franchise owner in your market.
